The Southeastern Animal Control Association was founded in 1972 and for over 53 years, the South Eastern Animal Control Association (SACA) has been committed to advancing the field of animal control through education, training, and professional support. As the demands of this profession evolve—whether through natural disasters, large-scale cruelty investigations, or shifting legislation—SACA remains at the forefront, ensuring officers are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need. By fostering collaboration and continuous learning, we empower officers to protect both animals and communities across the Southeast. Together, we’re building a stronger, more prepared future for the field of animal control.

At saca-conference.org, we are dedicated to promoting animal welfare and protection. Our mission is to provide a voice for the voiceless and ensure the well-being of all animals. Thanks to our partners at the National Animal Control Association, we are able to make a difference in the lives of animals. We offer educational resources, advocacy programs, and community outreach initiatives to support animals in need. Join us in our efforts to create a world where animals are treated with compassion and respect. NACA has given us 12 memberships to give away at this years conference to individuals who are currently not members. Also, they have provided 3 FULL scholarships for our training event as well.

DEAR SACA 2025 Attendees
We want to thank you all for sharing with us, this wonderful time of learning, collaborating, and listening. We all should take time to adapt, learn strategies, and spend time with our peers in order to find solutions, challenge ourselves, and even set benchmarks for our work environment or even ourselves personally. Whether you work in a shelter, work field services, logistics, or in rescue, we all can gain insight if we just look for it and are open to new ideas.
